Teen Challenge Auxiliary 

The Teen Challenge Auxiliary is a group of volunteers whose purpose is to assist Teen Challenge International of Mid-America by providing funding and other needs for our center and students.

The Teen Challenge Auxiliary plays a major role, doing a great work that blesses not only Teen Challenge but the community as well through the Thrift Store.  The thrift store is located at 61 N Clark in Cape Girardeau.

Through their dilligent, self- sacrificing efforts, they have provided many needs for the center.

Every Christmas, they provide a gift bag for each of our students, currently numbering around 135.

They provide the funds for our food budget each month.

Recently, they provided nearly all of the funding to build a much needed administration office.  The new building has made a significant difference in the ability of our staff to stay in close communication as they are now housed in one office building.

Through donations received at the store, they help keep our kitchen supplied with silverware, dishes and othe important items.

White shirts are collected and sent to the center so students on our lawn crews have a uniform appearance while working in the community.

In the past, they have provided funding towards the building of our chapel, paid for our water softening equiptment, purchased washers and dryers, provided a network of computers for the office, remodeled our kitchen, redecorated our staff lobby, decorated a guest apartment for our guests . . . and the list goes on.

The exceptional efforts of our auxiliary members continue to be a blessing to the center and the many students we are able tp help.
