At Teen Challenge, we teach principles with purpose. Through biblical principles, we help our students define who they are and provide them with the tools needed to assist them in the process of recovery. A rigorous and regimented program, Teen Challenge offers both personal growth and group studies and counseling. A variety of vocational training programs are available according to center location.

Each student will learn to apply biblical principles to the challenges of everyday life through practical processes. Teen Challenge is not an easy program. Consisting of several phases over a 14 month period, each student will have a structured environment. However, thousands of graduates nationally will tell you that it’s worth the effort!

While in the Teen Challenge program, you will learn how to turn to God and be honest with yourself. You will experience inner healing and be able to trust others again. Come and experience restoration and start developing healthy relationships.

Teen Challenge International of Mid America in Cape Girardeau, MO has been an effective solution to life-controlling problems for thousands of people for over 40 years. We offer a long term 14 month residential faith based recovery program allowing men over the age of 18. This allows us to serve individuals with a broad spectrum of addiction issues; from those seeking treatment for the first time, to those who have been struggling with addiction for many years.

The 14 month program is designed to address the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of our students. There are currently over 250 men in the residential program throughout our induction centers and our main campus. Over the course of the program, we provide Christian discipleship classes, individual advising sessions, vocational training, basic computer classes, GED certificate courses and curriculum designed to help each student re-integrate into society.

HOW TO BEGIN

The program starts with a student entering one of our “Induction Centers” for approximately 4 months, then transferring to our campus here in Cape Girardeau, MO for 10 months.
